11/6/2023 0 Comments Scarecrow tribal edhPlease, show my good little creepy straw-bois some more love. Would it really have been that bad for any of the cards I've mentioned to actually be somewhat playable outside of Limited? I mean, for crying out loud, ] looks stronger than 90% of all other Scarecrows, and it's an Uncommon. I mean, we've had TWO Innistrad sets, an Eldraine set, a Kaldheim set, and these have been the most "Folk-magic-y" sets we've gotten in a while, and which we'll probably get for a long while because of the whole Dominaria/Phyrexia storyline. (to at least get a little ramp) Its power level is kinda low, as youd suspect, but Scarecrows are just so hilariously janky. I know asking for more cards being released would be egoistic if animated, walking scarecrows don't really fit the setting but. Scarecrow or Wurm, for Scarecrow Tribal Reaper King is the go-to choice, Ive restricted myself to build a Deck that catches the flavor or the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor Block, 90 Cards just from these 4 sets and 10 'Staples'. Commander Showdown is a series that compares and contrast two similar commanders, analyzes differences in strategy and deck construction, and evaluates how those differences are represented by the data here on EDHREC. If WotC doesn't want the deck just being a cheeky Vindicate tribal turbo, would it really hurt them to toss them a bone or two? I mean, they've been releasing a bunch of weak as hell Scarecrows over the years (Looking at you, ], ], ], ] and ]) so they clearly remember that the tribe, at the very least, exists. I mean, we're still getting Sliver support to this day (and yeah, I know that Slivers are certainly more popular than scarecrows) but we've barely gotten new Scarecrows even after going to the *second* fairy-tale inspired plane in the multiverse. Plus, it's not like WotC is against supporting tribal archetypes. The deck ramps through dropping rocks and using those rocks to drop bigger rocks until you can drop Ulamog to wreck someones board state, or to drop the other large Eldrazi to keep you safe. Reaper king (scarecrow tribal) win cons I was wondering if anyone knows of a good win con in a reaper king scarecrow The deck has blinkers that can wipe a board with enough scarecrows (shapeshifters included) but is there any cards that I could play that practically means I win, specifically artifact based if able but other options are good too. Expanding our view of the tribe, we also have Grim Poppet, who can pick off small creatures or one big creature One-Eyed Scarecrow, lessening the effectiveness of opponents going wide and Wild-Field Scarecrow, who can fix our mana after blocking. But, I mean, what other choice is there? The deck can only be played as WUBRG good stuff (in which case, Reaper King is as good to you as any other 5 color commander could be outside of stuff like ] and the like), Changeling Tribal, Scarecrow tribal or a mixture of the last 2. Eldrazi Tribal that ramps and eats everything. If we then draw Entomb/Unmarked Grave we can gravetutor for Smoke Shroud or try to naturally discard them (maybe casting them cheaply to thin out a land). What's the point of making a 5 colors commander if all of the actual support for it is going to be limited to Lorwyn block and draft chaff? I get that destroying lands is frowned upon and that ] can already be abused with things like ] and ]. However, now that we have more ninjas, I wonder if we can shift the strategy to center more on ninjas? Forget re-ninjutsuing them, let's instead keep them on board with a slew of evasion! ] and - this is sort of out there - ] and ] into ] and ]! If we draw Wonder/Filth first we can probably discard them naturally thanks to our heavy card draw. ![]() This has been mitigated by ]-esque effects. ![]() This partly due to a lack of ninjas and partly due to the nature of ninjutsu. Magic: The Gathering decks related to etiquetado 'scarecrow' Inicio Mazos Editor interactivo Colección Foro Ediciones Log In. This is a list of all creature types, in descending order by count. ![]() Otherwise, you can also report a bug to help us fix it faster. Scarecrow tribal edh (Commander / EDH MTG Deck). Scarecrow blink tribal EDH Commander / EDH Blink Casual Changeling Scarecrow. Yuriko has previously been (sort of) unique in that she is a tribal deck containing a lot of non-tribal cards. New cards take a few days to show up on EDHREC. With NEO, we have significantly more ninjas to populate our deck lists.
